Thirteen years of experience in the fields of environmental geology and
engineering, with a primary focus on Phase I and Phase II site investigations,
remedial system design and implementation, regulatory negotiation and
site closure. Management duties include implementation of soil and groundwater
investigations, soil and groundwater remediation, third party claim management,
and regulatory meetings and negotiations for underground and above ground
chemical releases at residential and commercial sites.
Relevant experience includes:
Extensive experience in the design, testing, feasibility, implementation
and operations of air sparge, ozone sparge, and soil vapor extraction
systems.
Extensive design and implementation of real-time source removal
including deep excavations. Projects required shoring, stepping and
sloping; dewatering; backfilling; and placement of in-ground piping
systems and oxygen producing amendments.
Working knowledge of the characterization, treatment and removal
of perchlorate in soil and groundwater using developing technologies
including soil flushing with groundwater recovery, and nutrient gas
and liquid injection to enhance biodegradation.
Working knowledge of the classification, characterization, cleanup
and closure of clandestine methamphetamine manufacturing laboratories,
including establishing testing protocol for discrete and hazardous compounds.
Extensive experience in the design and implementation of specialized
characterization and remediation projects including indoor and limited
access source removal projects. These projects often require active
control and abatement of air particulates, vapors, and excessive noise.
