Ms. Townsend has several years of experience in field geology, including:
Field work with the U.S. Geological Survey in 1995, obtaining
level data as part of a survey team in Yellowstone National Park, and
using first-level survey equipment to measure ground deformation.
As a staff geologist with JCP Geologists in Cupertino,
California, preparing natural hazard disclosure reports for the real
estate industry, educating clients about geologic principals and natural
hazards, and using GIS software and officially adopted maps.
Presently, as a staff geologist at RRM, scheduling and
executing fieldwork for groundwater sampling programs; supervising drilling
operations for well installations at sites in California and Alaska;
and editing and assembling data for quarterly groundwater monitoring
reports.
